Dear Everyone who consider to join EMBO Workshop on BMVs

We hope all of you are in good spirits despites the many difficult situations in your countries, universities, academic institutions, colleagues and families, due to the on-going pandemic.
Now, we would like to inform that registration for both on-site and online is open for everyone. However, unfortunately, we strongly recommend for oversea residents to join online registration, but not on-site one. Please carefully look at the following link of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, in which the entry into Japan is banned for most of the countries and at least a 14-day quarantine will be applied to all the travelers that were able to entry Japan.

The organizing committee would also like to note that it is possible that the schedule or format of the Workshop may change, due to any unexpected situations in the venue, Tsukuba, Japan.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you cannot attend the Workshop due to justified force majeure, please contact us at embows@procom-i.jp, and we will refund your registration fee.

TRAVEL GRANTS AND REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS

Please check here, if you are going to apply for TRAVEL GRANTS or REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS.

A limited number of TRAVEL GRANTS are available for on-site participants.
In place of TRAVEL GRANTS, a number of REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS are
available for virtual participants. The selection for both grants will
be based on the quality of the abstract submitted. Organizing committee
will consider to award REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS WITH PRIORITY to the
applicants from lower income economies. Organizing committee will also
consider to award REGISTRATION FEE WAIVERS WITH PRIORITY to applicants
from EMBC Member States*.

*EMBC Member States: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland,
Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands,
Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, Turkey, and United Kingdom
